Job Title: Automotive Detailer

Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Automotive Detailer to join our dealership team. The Automotive Detailer is responsible for cleaning, restoring, and finishing vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring they are showroom-ready for display and customer delivery. This role plays a critical part in maintaining our dealership’s reputation for quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly wash, wax, buff, and polish vehicle exteriors
- Clean and vacuum interiors, including carpets, seats, dashboards, door panels, and headliners
- Shampoo carpets and upholstery as needed
- Apply interior and exterior protectants
- Clean engine bays (when required and approved)
- Inspect vehicles for defects and report any damage to management
- Remove stickers, decals, and residue
- Perform paint touch-ups when necessary (if trained/authorized)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing area
- Safely operate buffers, steam cleaners, vacuums, and other detailing equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Assist with lot presentation and vehicle movement as needed
Qualifications
- Previous automotive detailing experience preferred (dealership experience a plus)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
