  • Job Summary

The Fleet Supervisor oversees the daily operations of Premier Linen’s fleet, ensuring efficient vehicle scheduling, maintenance, and compliance with safety standards. This role involves managing drivers, optimizing fleet performance, and maintaining records to ensure a timely and reliable delivery service.

II. Essential Job Functions

Job Activities

  • Supervise and assign daily routes and delivery schedules for drivers to meet operational needs.
  • Oversee fleet maintenance schedules to ensure all vehicles are operational and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Train, support, and evaluate drivers on company policies, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
  • Monitor fuel usage, vehicle performance, and operational costs, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Coordinate with repair vendors and internal teams for vehicle servicing and issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of fleet activities, including maintenance logs, mileage tracking, and compliance documentation.
  • Investigate vehicle-related incidents and prepare detailed reports as needed.
  • Ensure all fleet operations align with company and regulatory requirements.

IV. Education, Experience and Skill Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of fleet or logistics experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot vehicle issues
  • Proficiency with fleet management software.
  • Demonstrated experience as laundry employee or similar role.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and be able to prevent and/or handle emergency situations.
  • A cheerful, positive attitude when working with a variety of people, and be able to work well under pressure.
  • Responsible, neat and clean in appearance.
  • Strong communication skills with supervisors and team members.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 per year

  • Supervising: 10 years (Required)
