Snow Removal Loader Operator

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Snow Removal Loader Operator to join our winter operations team. This position is responsible for operating loaders and related equipment to efficiently and safely remove snow from commercial properties during winter weather events. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable in all weather conditions, and committed to high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Operate loaders, skid steers, and other heavy equipment for snow removal and snow stacking
• Clear snow from parking lots, drive lanes, loading docks, and other designated areas
• Load and relocate snow to designated pile areas when required
• Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Work safely around buildings, vehicles, pedestrians, and other equipment
• Communicate with supervisors and team members during snow events
• Be available for on-call work during nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Follow all company safety procedures and winter operations standards
• Perform salting when salting is necessary but no snow accumulation to push.

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating loaders or heavy equipment (snow removal experience preferred)
• Ability to work long hours in cold, snowy, and challenging conditions
• Strong attention to detail and awareness of surroundings
• Valid driver's license
• Dependable, punctual, and able to respond quickly to snow events
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment
• Ability to climb in and out of equipment repeatedly
• Comfortable working in winter weather conditions for extended shifts

• Competitive hourly pay based on experience
• On-call seasonal position with opportunities for extended hours during snow events
• Winter snow removal with potential for full-time, year-round landscaping work.
