Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing at Canal Pointe is an 120- bed skilled nursing facility located in Akron, Ohio who is seeking a Nursing Staff Scheduler to join our team and provide quality care to our residents in a nursing home setting. The successful candidate will have experience working with geriatrics, behavioral health and long-term care, as well as a passion for providing compassionate and attentive care.
The Nursing Staff Scheduler is responsible for creating, maintaining, and adjusting staff schedules to ensure adequate nursing coverage for all shifts in compliance with staffing regulations and facility policies. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication to coordinate with nursing staff and leadership. STNA certification is Required! Or a has a current LPN liecense.

Key Responsibilities Of The Nursing Staff Scheduler
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly nursing staff schedules for all shifts
- Ensure adequate staffing coverage for all departments according to census, acuity, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor call-offs, tardiness, and schedule changes; find replacements and adjust schedules accordingly
- Coordinate with the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisors to address staffing issues or needs
