As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Premier Washington Health Center, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our rehabilitation and nursing facility.
About the Licensed Practical Nurse LPN Role:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or other licensed healthcare professionals
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to designated staff
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and charts
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients with varying needs and conditions
- Perform routine vital signs and other assessments as needed
- Administer injections, medications, and treatments as prescribed
- Assist with wound care, dressing changes, and other medical procedures
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes
