Premier Health Associates is a fully integrated, physician owned and managed healthcare organization committed to providing the highest quality of care in the most cost-efficient manner within the communities we serve. Premier Health currently serves patients with 14 locations throughout Sussex, Warren, and Morris Counties in NJ and Pike County, PA.
Premier Health Associates is seeking part time Registered Nurses to join our multispecialty ambulatory surgery center team located in Succasunna, NJ. Our two-room licensed outpatient facility specializes in Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Orthopedics and Pain Management and performs procedures Monday- Saturday.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current RN license (required)
- Current BLS and ACLS (required)
- Minimum of 2 years perioperative experience in an outpatient surgery center setting
- Flexibility to work Saturday rotation (required)
- Orthopedic experience (a plus)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with all healthcare team members in delivering evidence-based care to patients.
- Applies the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Performs other related duties as assigned including but not limited to performing as a Circulating, Pre-Op, Endoscopy, and PACU RN, as needed.
- Administers medications accurately and in accordance with the restrictions and limitations set by the New Jersey State Practice Act and the Center’s policies and procedures.
- Maintains required competencies.
- Participates in continuing education.
