We are seeking a part time associate to work in our full service deli department. The deli associate is responsible for slicing, weighing, labeling, and packaging customers orders while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their deli selections.
- Slice, weigh, label, and package customers orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area
- Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations at all times.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations to customers regarding products and pairings.
- Follow direction from the Store Manager, perform tasks as assigned
Requirements
- MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER TO APPLY
- Previous experience using a deli slicer
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Knowledge of food handling practices is essential for ensuring safety standards are met.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds as required for stocking and serving.
