About the Nursing Home Cook Role
As a Nursing Home Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious and nutritious meals to our residents. You will work closely with our dietary team to ensure that all meals meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents. Nursing Home Cook Responsibilities
Prepare and serve meals to residents in our nursing home facility
Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety guidelines
Work closely with the dietary team to plan and prepare meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents
Collaborate with caregivers to ensure that meals are served in a timely and efficient manner
Maintain accurate records of food temperatures, inventory, and production
Participate in menu planning and food preparation for special events and functions
Ensure that all resident requests and complaints are addressed promptly and professionally
Nursing Home Cook Requirements
Prior experience preferred (entry-level candidates welcome to apply)
