Warehouse Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective management of warehouse activities, including inventory control, shipping and receiving, and logistics. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of supply chain management principles.

Duties

• Manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Oversee inventory management processes, including demand planning, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
• Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Utilize transportation management systems to optimize shipping and receiving processes.
• Supervise warehouse staff, providing training and guidance to ensure high performance and productivity.
• Collaborate with procurement and purchasing teams to manage materials effectively.
• Develop budgets for warehouse operations and monitor expenses to ensure profitability.
• Coordinate logistics for inbound and outbound freight, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
• Maintain accurate records using warehouse management systems Quickbooks.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse environment.
• Lead role will require constant open communication with the team.
• Order tracking and logistics understanding.
• Maintain and implement safety planning with the team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar supervisory role within the logistics or supply chain industry.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, shipping & receiving processes, and warehouse distribution practices.
• Familiarity with transportation planning, 3PL (third-party logistics), NVOCC (non-vessel operating common carrier), and fleet management.
• Proficient in using transportation management systems.
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on process improvement and lean methodologies.
• Ability to manage budgets effectively while driving operational excellence.
• Experience with forklift operation is preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
