Childcare Floater

Description

The Nest/ Alphabet Academy is a family-centered and forward-thinking early learning center with a Reggio Emilia-based approach to childhood learning, activity, and play. Our teachers and staff value relationships with children's families, supporting them as they balance the demands of careers and family. The Nest is excited to mentor, learn from, and partner with like-minded professionals who have diverse backgrounds, experiences and learning styles. We are looking for an individual who will quickly learn the expectations, curriculum and culture of the school.

This support staff must be available Monday-Friday 9 AM until 6 PM, with an option for reduced hours if needed.

In addition, the person must possess:

• a gentle, warm, and playful demeanor
• professional communication skills
• a working knowledge of child development
• a willingness to learn and grow
• enthusiasm for being outdoors in all types of weather
• a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of childcare experience preferred
  
  

Job Type: Part-time and full-time options

Compensation: $16.35 - $18.35 per hour, based on education and experience
