To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED, the ability to pass all background checks. 6 ECE hours preferred Previous childcare experience in a licensed center preferred.
Required Shift:Monday - Friday, Full-time 7:30am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5:30pm
Compensation: $17.25-$19.00/hr, based on education and experience
Location: 1415 Woodbine Rd. Bloomington

- Assist the lead teacher with all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
- Implement activities that encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
- Take direction, accept constructive criticism, and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program.
- Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children.
- Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
- Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
