Job Overview
We are looking for an IT Administrator to support and maintain server, network, and cloud environments for small organizations. This role works closely with the CIO and provides escalation support to Tier 1/2 staff, ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and well-documented. The successful candidate will be someone who loves to learn, develop new skills (technical and non-technical), and guide our organization through challenges of a hybrid workforce while maintaining our current stable network.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer Windows Server (Active Directory, Group Policy) and Linux systems
- Manage network infrastructure (switches, firewalls, VPNs, wireless)
- Support Microsoft 365 / Entra (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Intune)
- Maintain backups, patching, and security best practices (MFA, least privilege)
- Assist with infrastructure upgrades and troubleshooting escalations
- Document systems, configurations, and procedures
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of systems, network, or cloud administration experience
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Microsoft 365, and networking
- Experience with security, backups, and patch management
- Ability to manage time, work independently, and communicate clearly
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft preferred
- Virtualization or cloud experience a plus
- Compliance or data privacy experience preferred
