Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, ensuring the safety of all individuals on-site.
- Conduct regular inspections of premises and equipment, reporting any irregularities or hazards.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for record-keeping purposes.
- Enforce rules and regulations to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize CCTV and surveillance systems to monitor activities in designated areas.
- Provide assistance in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or security breaches.
Skills
- Proficient in conflict management with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
- Background in law enforcement or security is preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
- CPR and First Aid certification is highly desirable.
- Experience with military training is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance technology is an asset.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and interaction with others.
