Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, including residential, commercial, and hotel settings. This role requires a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring that all cleaning tasks are performed to the highest standards.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are fresh and presentable.
• Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing to maintain a clean appearance.
• Carry out carpet cleaning duties using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Assist with custodial tasks in commercial settings, ensuring that all public areas are clean and welcoming.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.

Skills

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or commercial cleaning environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills to interact with clients and guests professionally.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Basic cooking skills may be beneficial for certain residential roles.
