ABOUT THIS ROLE:
Responsible for evaluating the financial condition of individuals and businesses applying for credit with the bank to determine their credit worthiness and their ability to repay loans. Inspect residential and commercial construction sites and complete required analysis. Create internal real estate valuation reports and conduct appraisal reviews. Assist lenders with credit analysis for loan presentations as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure customer needs are always handled in a courteous and professional manner.
- Complete on-site physical inspections of construction sites.
- Compile an accurate analysis to document the percentage completion of construction projects.
- Complete Spec and Model construction reports.
- Create internal valuation reports.
- Conduct appraisal reviews.
- Assist lenders with credit analysis.
- Analyzes data on new and existing commercial, construction and residential loans including information provided by credit bureaus, financial statements and tax returns.
- Assists in the preparation of credit presentations for loan approval.
- Responsible for financial monitoring including covenant compliance and completing annual reviews for specified credits.
- Prepare internal valuations as applicable and conduct appraisal reviews for residential real estate loans.
- Provides technical advice and assistance to loan officers as needed.
NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Basic knowledge of the construction process and construction materials.
- Good financial analytical abilities.
- Ability to communicate in a courteous and professional manner
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of bank products and services.
- Knowledge of bank policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of Premier Bank loan policies.
- Ability to operate current bank computer systems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software such as Outlook, Word and Excel
- Excellent customer service skills
