As the top authority on pool safety and guest service, you will oversee lifeguard operations, coordinate with management. Major summer holidays are mandatory including Memorial Day, July 4, & Labor Day. One weekend day is also required.
Duties
- Lead and supervise a team of lifeguards, ensuring all safety protocols are rigorously followed during daily operations and special events
- Manage emergency response procedures, including rescue operations and first aid administration, with swift and decisive action
- Oversee guest services at the pool area, addressing guest inquiries, resolving concerns, and enhancing overall satisfaction through excellent customer service
- Conduct regular safety inspections of pool facilities, equipment, and surrounding areas to maintain compliance with health and safety standards
- Train new lifeguards on safety procedures, customer service excellence, and resort policies to ensure a high standard of performance across the team
Experience
- Proven leadership experience in a management role within hospitality, resort operations, health club, or aquatic safety environments
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly yet authoritative demeanor that fosters positive guest interactions
- Knowledge of rescue techniques, first aid certification (including CPR), and emergency response protocols is essential
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous experience working in a resort or large-scale recreational facility is highly desirable
