Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth food service operations by delivering dishes promptly and maintaining excellent guest experiences. Duties
- Deliver prepared food from the kitchen to guests in a timely and professional manner
- Assist servers with food presentation and table service as needed
- Ensure food safety standards are maintained during transport and handling
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, supporting bussing duties when required
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order accuracy and special requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and dining areas
- Support the kitchen team with basic food handling or preparation tasks if necessary
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately when required
Skills
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and servers
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly attitude
- Experience with banquet service, bussing, or culinary tasks is advantageous
- Kitchen or hotel experience can be beneficial for understanding guest needs and operational flow

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
