The heart of Prellis Bio’s strategy is the combination of novel, cutting edge methods in machine learning, biology at scale and next gen antibody discovery that address long-standing industry-wide problems in the drug development pipeline. Prellis Biologics uses proprietary technology to 3D print human lymph node organoids enabling the rapid & diverse discovery of human antibody therapeutic candidates for a range of applications. Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Scientist – Antibody Display Technology and HTP Screening to grow our high-throughput (HTP) screening capability and accelerate our biotherapeutic discovery efforts. You will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing mammalian display or other HTP screening platforms identify high affinity antibody candidates.
- Driving strategic innovation by shaping the future of our EXIS and AI/ML discovery platforms.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize in vitro display platforms to integrate synthetic or EXIS immune libraries.
- Apply HTP selection and screening (e.g., FACS, cell-based assays, microfluidics) to identify binders with improved affinity, functional or biophysical properties.
- Design, strategize, and execute on engineering requests to further develop and optimize candidates.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including Protein Science, AI/ML, and NGS groups.
- Drive platform innovation through agile, hypothesis-driven research and rapid iteration.
Qualifications
- PhD or MS in Molecular Biology, Biochemical engineering, or Immunology with 3 (PhD) or 5 (MS) years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and utilizing mammalian display and one or more platforms (e.g. yeast/phage display, CHO secretion) for HTP screening of antibody libraries.
- Experience with antibody library design and construction.
- Familiarity with antibody sequence analysis tools (Geneious, PipeBio).
- Experience with flow cytometry panning and iQue cell binding screening.
- Strong understanding of therapeutic antibody discovery process.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to drive multiple projects.
- Demonstrated experience in collaborating across various scientific disciplines in a dynamic environment.
Bonus Experience
- Working knowledge in binding, functional or developability assays for antibody characterization.
- Familiarity with structural biology tools (e.g., PyMOL, Chimera, AlphaFold).
- Keen interest in AI/ML driven discovery, protein optimization, and attribute prediction.
- Experience in antigen design and preparation.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
