Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to keep outdoor areas pristine.
- Operate groundskeeping and landscaping equipment such as power tools, lawn mowers, irrigation systems, and snow plows with safety protocol adherence.
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues to maintain healthy plant growth.
- Identify plants, shrubs, trees, and pests to support healthy landscape development and pest management strategies.
- Conduct groundskeeping activities like fertilizing, planting new flora, removing debris, and applying pesticides responsibly.
- Maintain safety standards by following established protocols during all outdoor operations and equipment use.
- Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or seasonal planting to ensure year-round landscape excellence.Qualifications
- Proven outdoor work experience with grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge of power tools, lawn care equipment, irrigation systems, and landscaping machinery.
