Role Overview
We’re seeking a creative and detail-oriented editor who can transform raw footage into compelling content tailored for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube (long-form). This role requires someone who understands pacing, storytelling, audience retention, and how to leverage AI tools to enhance efficiency and creativity.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-volume short-form content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) optimized for engagement and virality
- Edit long-form YouTube videos with strong storytelling, pacing, and retention strategies
- Collaborate with our content and social teams to align edits with brand voice and goals
- Incorporate captions, graphics, sound effects, and music to elevate content quality
- Utilize AI tools for editing, captioning, clipping, and workflow optimization
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends, formats, and platform best practices
- Organize and manage media assets efficiently
Qualifications
- Proven experience editing both short-form and long-form social media content
- Strong proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
- Experience using AI tools (e.g., automated clipping, captions, voice tools, or generative editing tools)
- Deep understanding of viral content structure and audience retention
- Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality
- Strong attention to detail and ability to take feedback
- Strong animal knowledge
