Imagine joining the line at noon in Danbury, CT, picking up a set of drawings, and by evening pushing forward a finished piping assembly that’s on its way to a customer site. As a Steel Piping Assembly Mechanic, you turn engineered designs into durable, high-quality systems—every shift.
2nd Shift Hours: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Your Impact- Study blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to establish accurate layouts.
- Fabricate and assemble piping from carbon and stainless steel components.
- Partner with cross-functional trades to keep projects on schedule.
- Champion safety and housekeeping to maintain a clean, compliant work area.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational pipe fitting/fabrication training preferred.
- Experience as an industrial pipe fitter or fabricator.
- Working knowledge of piping systems, material selection, and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to interpret detailed technical drawings and blueprints.
- Comfort with safety regulations and best practices in industrial settings.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and meticulous attention to detail.
- Clear communication and effective teamwork skills.
- Openness to overtime and flexible scheduling as needed.
