Preferred Tool is looking for motivated, experienced team members. We build plastic injection molds and program with the latest MasterCam software as well as Cimatron.
We are looking to hire experienced toolmakers with MasterCam/Cimatron programming experience.
Responsibilities:
Setting up and operating CNC Mills (Fanuc Controls)
Reading and interpreting part drawings
Troubleshoot production issues related to molds
Ensure mold design meets product specifications and tolerances
Measure and verify dimensions using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, CMM)
Perform precision fitting and assembly of mold parts
Document work performed and maintain records
Operate CAD/CAM software (MasterCam)
Program CNC mills using Mastercam for tooling, fixtures, some parts
Optimize tool paths for efficiency and accuracy
Collaborate with other toolmakers, engineers, and programmers
Interpret complex 3D CAD models and engineering drawings
Troubleshoot programming and machining challenges
Maintain organized program documentation
Schedule: Monday - Friday

Experience:
Tool Making: 2 years (Required)
CNC programming: 2 years (Required)
Machinists with 1 year experience on vertical mills with Fanuc Controls.
Minimum 2 years of Mastercam programming experience required
Experience with CAD/CAM file management
