Carpenter/ Apprentice

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and the ability to work on diverse projects. We are a kitchen and bath company. Experience in tile work would be a plus but not required.

As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. Quality of work and accountably are important to the company and essential to a candidate's succcess. We are looking for someone who is trainable and coachable. The prospect will have to work with all things on the constuction site, from site prep and clean up, to loading and unloading equiptment and materials. WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR CARPENTERS WITH 20 PLUS YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities

• Perform fixture installation and trim carpentry to enhance the aesthetic appeal of spaces.
• Work with Sheetrock and spackle to create smooth finishes on walls and ceilings.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter
• Proficiency in using hand tools, and power tools, safely and effectively.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques including cabinet installation, trim work, interior doors and windows
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team environment.

Pay: $20.00 - $27.50 per hour
