Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Snow Plow Driver to join our landscape maintenance team. This role involves clearing snow and ice from residential and commercial properties to ensure safety and accessibility during winter months. Responsibilities
- Operate snow plowing equipment, including trucks and snow blowers, to efficiently clear driveways, walkways, parking lots, and sidewalks and roads
- Use hand tools such as shovels, plows and salt spreaders for detailed snow removal/de-icing.
- Perform ice melt application to prevent hazardous conditions
- Maintain and inspect equipment like plows and salters to ensure proper functioning
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations to prevent accidents or injuries
Experience
- Prior experience with snow plowing or outdoor maintenance is needed
- Familiarity with safety procedures for outdoor winter work environments is important
This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in varying weather conditions. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors during early mornings or late evenings when necessary. A valid chauffeur's driver’s license and MDOT is necessary for operating larger equipment or vehicles involved in snow removal operations.
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
