Responsibilities
- Applies comprehensive knowledge of radiologic principles, choosing appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.
- Develops and implements procedure/treatment plans following hospital protocols.
- Documents procedures accurately to ensure compliance with policies.
- Maintains equipment, rooms, and work areas in a safe, clean condition for patient and staff safety.
- Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold patient care standards.
- Completes assigned goals efficiently.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in the specialty area to meet all CT competencies.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography; CT registration preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- State licensure as required; ARRT(R) certification; BLS certification within 14 days.
- Basic computer literacy skills.
