- Evaluating, administering diagnostic tests, and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborating with physicians, advising on test results, and modifying treatment plans as needed.
- Training junior therapists, developing staff inservice programs, and supervising contract therapists.
- Developing and maintaining departmental policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Supporting community programs and identifying opportunities for service improvement and cost containment.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech Therapist.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- California Speech-Language Pathologist License, National Provider Identifier, and Clinical Competence Certificate.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
