Role Overview: The Sonographer demonstrates expertise in human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology, performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures independently and operating ultrasound equipment according to Radiologist directives. They ensure high ethical standards, maintain patient confidentiality, and accurately manage medical records.

Responsibilities include: Conducting sonographic assessments, identifying normal and abnormal findings, analyzing images, and effectively communicating results to physicians. They practice safety protocols and adhere to professional codes of ethics.

Qualifications: Completion of AMA-approved ultrasound training, certification in RDMS or equivalent, and ability to obtain specialty credentials. Experience in abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, or interventional ultrasound is preferred. BLS certification is required.

Skills: Proficiency in ultrasound operation, patient assessment, manual dexterity, effective communication, and ability to work in busy environments, including patient transport and equipment handling.

Additional Info: The role is full-time at a hospital in Butte, Montana, with hourly pay ranging from $35.62 to $57.36. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and encourages career growth within a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
