Role Overview

Provides professional nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team, utilizing evidence-based practices and the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conducts patient assessments through interviews, observations, and physical exams.
• Develops and modifies individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team.
• Implements appropriate interventions and documents patient progress continuously.
• Demonstrates technical proficiency with equipment, lab specimen collection, bedside testing, and troubleshooting.
• Promotes professional development and shares clinical knowledge.
• Ensures patient safety and advocates for patients by coordinating resources and communicating effectively.
• Participates in quality improvement activities, data collection, and process enhancements to meet safety and care standards.
• Educates patients and families, considering cultural and developmental factors, to facilitate understanding and safety.
• Prioritizes tasks based on patient needs and collaborates with team members for optimal outcomes.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid RN license and BLS certification.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Strong clinical, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
