Job Overview

  • Specialty: Nurse Practitioner in Neurosurgery
  • Role: Provide 100% inpatient floor coverage, focusing on neurosurgery, including post-operative and neurocritical care with trauma experience. Responsibilities include ICU coverage in MICU, SICU, and ED, working alongside 7 neurosurgeons.
  • Case Mix: Split between spinal and cranial cases, with variability based on surgical volume and patient needs. No OR coverage required.
  • Patient Load: Approximately 10 patients per shift.
  • Hours: 6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6am, with no on-call duties.
  • Qualifications: Licensed in MT or IMLC, with neurocritical care and trauma experience essential.
