Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred
- No experience required; new graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred
- Current Georgia RN licensure or multistate license
- BCLS certification required
- Additional certifications based on specialty area (e.g., ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, etc.) within specified timeframes
- Preferred certifications include specialized area credentials (e.g., Certified Dialysis Nurse, PEARS/PALS, NICU NRP)
- Provide patient-focused nursing care utilizing nursing processes
- Maintain practice standards and ensure quality care
- Coordinate and oversee patient care activities of assigned staff
- Demonstrate professional growth, accountability, and adherence to policies
