Role: Per Diem Registered Nurse (Med/Surg) providing safe, effective, and compassionate patient care on medical-surgical units.
Responsibilities: Independently deliver nursing care, utilize the nursing process for planning and evaluation, supervise unlicensed personnel, and collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.
Qualifications: Current IL nursing license, graduate of an NLN-accredited school (BSN preferred), BLS and NIHSS certifications, minimum two years of recent acute care med/surg experience, telemetry competence within 14 days of hire.
Skills: Strong clinical skills in med/surg, telemetry knowledge, effective communication, teamwork, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key duties: Provide patient-centered care, guide staff, communicate with the healthcare team, and contribute to safety and quality improvement efforts.
