Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Per Diem - Night Shift

Role: Per Diem Registered Nurse (Med/Surg) providing compassionate, safe, and effective patient care.

• Independently deliver nursing care on med/surg units, utilizing the nursing process for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
• Guide and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Communicate effectively to promote safety and high-quality patient experiences.
• Supervise and direct unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering patient care.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Current IL RN license; graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing program, BSN preferred.
• BLS certification; active NIHSS certification maintained.
• At least two years recent acute care med/surg experience; telemetry competence demonstrated within 14 days of hire.
  
  

Key Duties: Provide bedside care, collaborate with team members, ensure safety, and contribute to positive patient outcomes. The role involves night shifts, weekend, and holiday work, with flexible hours based on level commitment.
