Key Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care following the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers, identifying issues and resources.
- Preferred Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
- At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred.
- Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
- BLS certification required.
