Job Title: Phlebotomist III – Floater

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist III – Floater responsible for high-quality blood specimen collection, processing samples for lab testing, and delivering exceptional patient care. The role requires flexibility to travel between multiple patient service centers and physician offices.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture, capillary, Pediatric, and geriatric blood collections safely and accurately.
• Collect, label, process, and prepare specimens following established procedures.
• Verify patient identity and specimen labeling accuracy, obtain patient signatures when needed.
• Maintain precise documentation and ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and quality standards.
• Provide clear communication and outstanding patient care during collection procedures.
• Support clinical and forensic specimen collections as required.
• Travel between multiple locations, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and support daily operations.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent; medical training or certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Strong specimen processing, labelling skills, and excellent customer service.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills, reliable transportation, and a valid driver’s license if applicable.
• Preferred: experience in a Patient Service Center and healthcare customer service.
  
  

Work Environment: Fast-paced outpatient lab setting with frequent standing, walking, and lifting. Flexibility to work at multiple locations, with occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
