Key Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture, capillary, Pediatric, and geriatric blood collections safely and accurately.
- Collect, label, process, and prepare specimens following established procedures.
- Verify patient identity and specimen labeling accuracy, obtain patient signatures when needed.
- Maintain precise documentation and ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and quality standards.
- Provide clear communication and outstanding patient care during collection procedures.
- Support clinical and forensic specimen collections as required.
- Travel between multiple locations, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and support daily operations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; medical training or certification preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
- Strong specimen processing, labelling skills, and excellent customer service.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills, reliable transportation, and a valid driver’s license if applicable.
- Preferred: experience in a Patient Service Center and healthcare customer service.
