Key Responsibilities Include
- Performing patient evaluations, establishing treatment plans with measurable goals, and adjusting approaches based on patient response.
- Ensuring safe and ethical patient care in compliance with all regulations and documentation standards.
- Assisting with program evaluation, quality improvement, and coordination of workshops and activities.
- Serving as a resource and providing orientation and training to new staff and students.
- Educating patients and families, and communicating effectively with healthcare teams.
- Maintaining current knowledge of therapeutic advances and technology.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current license or eligibility to practice in the state, with certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Preferred: National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Ability to respond to emergency situations.
