Key Responsibilities
- Screen patients for contraindications and prepare them for MRI exams.
- Explain procedures, position patients, and perform routine and advanced MRI scans with minimal supervision.
- Adjust scan parameters, follow physician instructions, and adhere to safety protocols.
- Maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
- Support MRI department operations by updating protocols, monitoring supplies, and assisting with staff training.
- Ensure a clean, safe work environment and promote good safety habits.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
- ARMRIT or ARRT registration in good standing; licensed radiological technologist if required by state.
- Current CPR certification.
- Experience performing MRI procedures independently.
- Preferred: Bilingual abilities.
