Role: Medical Assistant
Responsibilities: Perform direct and indirect patient care tasks in an ambulatory setting under supervision of a physician or RN. Participate as part of the healthcare team, accept appropriate delegation, and execute activities in line with patient care plans, organizational policies, and relationship-based care principles. Complete tasks within legal scope for unlicensed health personnel.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, with graduation from a Medical Assistant program or certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA).Additional skills: Excellent communication, teamwork experience, computer proficiency especially with electronic medical records, flexibility for daytime hours, and adaptability to unpredictable situations. Must maintain current BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.
Details: This is a full-time, nonexempt position with a pay rate of $21.55 - $30.22/hour. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 0645-1730, with no weekends. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, pre-tax savings, and retirement plans.
