Dental Assistant (RDA/DA)

Role: A compassionate and skilled Registered Dental Assistant/Dental Assistant in a pediatric dental practice, responsible for supporting dentists during examinations and procedures, preparing treatment rooms, and ensuring a positive experience for young patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist dentists with pediatric procedures, ensuring instruments and materials are ready.
• Perform coronal polishing following protocols and regulations.
• Prepare treatment areas by sterilizing instruments and stocking supplies.
• Educate children and parents on oral hygiene and the importance of dental visits.
• Record patient histories accurately, maintaining confidentiality.
• Manage patient flow and foster a friendly, welcoming environment.
• Schedule appointments and follow up on treatment plans.
• Assist with dental records and administrative tasks as needed.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent; dental assisting certification preferred.
• Valid coronal polishing certification and RDA license.
• Experience in pediatric dentistry preferred.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and office practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in dental software and technology.
• CPR and relevant dental certifications as required by law.
