Key Responsibilities
Responsible for monitoring diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral catheterization procedures in the Cath Lab, ensuring patient safety, and assisting as a scrub technician. This PRN Day Shift position offers an opportunity for registered nurses to enhance their skills in a collaborative, technologically advanced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor all procedures, including coronary and peripheral studies
- Ensure patient safety during interventions
- Assist as a scrub technician in procedures
- Associate’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy, or a minimum of five years’ experience with relevant certifications
- Certifications required within 12 months of hire: RCIS or RCES
- Preferred certifications include ARRT, or licenses such as FL Certified Radiologic Technologist, FL Registered Respiratory Therapist, RCIS, or RCES
- Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
