Role Overview
Provides professional nursing care through independent and delegated medical functions, adhering to practice standards. Utilizes specialized knowledge to evaluate, diagnose, and treat human conditions across various specialties including Emergency Room, Cardiology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Psychiatry, Urogynecology, Oncology, and Rheumatology.

Utilizes specialized knowledge to evaluate, diagnose, and treat human conditions across various specialties including Emergency Room, Cardiology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Psychiatry, Urogynecology, Oncology, and Rheumatology.
Key Responsibilities
- Collects patient data via medical history, physical exams, and review of labs/radiology.
- Formulates diagnoses and develops treatment plans aligned with collaborating physicians.
- Performs procedures within expertise and organizational policies.
- Educates patients and families on treatment, disease prevention, and health promotion.
- Documents care activities accurately and maintains compliance with safety standards.
- Conducts telehealth encounters and manages clinical and administrative tasks.
- Acts as a team leader, promotes a safe environment, and collaborates effectively.
- Maintains professional competence through ongoing education and certification.
- 1-2 years of diabetes management experience; endocrinology preferred.
- Masters in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Colorado APN Prescriptive Authority Certification or Provisional at hire.
- Active Colorado RN license, Advanced Practice Nurse registration, and National Provider ID.
- Basic Life Support and DEA registration required at hire.
- Additional certifications like CDE/CDECS within 24 months; ACLS and procedural sedation competency preferred.
