Established company in Woodstock, IL is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis.
This role is responsible for managing outstanding invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and communicating with customers to ensure timely payments.
This is an urgent hire, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up on outstanding invoices via email and phone
- Maintain and update accounts receivable records
- Generate weekly A/R aging reports
- Perform daily entries in QuickBooks Desktop
- Record cash receipts and manage customer payments
- Prepare and process bank deposits
- Perform monthly reconciliations in QuickBooks Desktop
- Review and audit sales orders prior to shipment
- Create and send invoices to customers
- Monitor customer accounts for outstanding balances and credits
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding payment status
- Assist with general administrative and accounting support tasks
Accounting Assistant Qualifications:
- Knowledge of computerized accounting (Quickbooks Desktop , Acctivate or )
- Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Word
- Minimum 3 years of accounts receivable experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with QuickBooks Desktop preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Comfortable handling email correspondence and occasional phone calls
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
