**Must Have ortho and neuro experience**
- Unit: OR - CVOR and regular
- # suites: 8 suites, 2 of the suites are used for CVOR
- # of cases per day: Performs over 700 open heart surgeries a year and nearly 2,400 orthopedic cases, including 350 joint replacements.
- Certs/Tech certified: RN:BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, Techs: BLS, CST. FOR CVOR RN must have at least 5 of general and an additional 2 years of CVOR so total of 7 yrs, CST- would be great if they have CVOR experience and C-section experience- must have robotics experience
- Ratios: 1:1
- EMR: Cerner- surginet
- Charge Nurse: Yes-relieves breaks
- OR techs: Yes- OR techs
- Weekend Requirement - RN's: Not other than call
- Weekend Requirement - CST's: Not other than call
- Call Requirement - RN's: Call required-rotates with core staff, typically every other day could be less- and every 3rd weekend. Weekend call is - Friday 6p- Monday 6a
- Call Requirement - CST's: Call required-Call is one day a week, starting at 2230 and going to 0630 the following morning. Then we require 24 hours of call on a weekend
- What is call response time: 30-60 minutes
- Holidays: Work into perm. Staff rotation- expected to work most holidays
- Scrub Color/ Provided: Scrubs provided by the department. Must wear business casual/or Navy scrubs in to work-no gym attire allowed. Must - change back out of provided scrubs before leaving facility.

- Vents: Yes
- Surgeon on call hours: Surgeon's on-call 24/7

- Floor specific orientation: 3-7 days of OR orientation for RN, Techs max of 3 days before on their own
- Common types of cases : General ortho, neuro, urology, appy, choly, and robotics. Have to have robotics or da vinci experience. CVOR-open heart, TAVR, AVR valve replacement.
- Scrubbing required - RN's: RN's required to have scrubbing and circulating experience
- Sterile Processing Info: For SPD position: Must have certified SPD certification from National certification for all SPD techs- don't have to have BLS for this position
- Equipment Used: Auto- claving
