The ER RN utilizes advanced clinical judgment, rapid assessment skills, and evidence-based practice to stabilize patients, coordinate care, and support treatment within a fast-paced, high-stress environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care & Clinical DutiesPerform rapid and comprehensive assessments of patients presenting with urgent or emergent health needs.Initiate and manage triage based on acuity and established protocols.Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions in accordance with physician orders and hospital guidelines.Monitor patient conditions, document changes, and escalate concerns promptly.Assist physicians with procedures such as intubation, wound care, central line placement, splinting, and resuscitation efforts.Provide care during cardiac arrests, trauma activations, stroke alerts, and other emergency situations.Prepare patients for diagnostic testing and interpret basic results to inform care decisions.QualificationsEducation & LicensureActive, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.8 WEEK CONTRACT WITH OPTION TO EXTENDER NIGHTS2 YEAR EXP!EVERY OTHER WEEKEND REQ!Required Certifications:ACLSBLSCPIPALSPrecision Scans is an equal-opportunity employer, committed to cultural diversity.
