We are seeking a creative and technically proficient Digital Experience Designer & SharePoint Site Creator to join our Digital Innovation team.
You will be responsible for both the visual content (graphics, layouts, presentations) and the SharePoint environments where that content lives. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on translating business needs into structured, engaging, and consistently branded digital experiences.
Role can be done remotely but you must be in Denver, CO.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, configure, and launch SharePoint Online sites (team sites and communication sites) using approved templates and governance guidelines.
- Build and manage site Information Architecture (IA), including pages, navigation, lists, libraries, metadata, views, and permissions.
- Establish and enforce site governance, content cadence, and usage guidelines for stakeholders.
- Manage the full site lifecycle, including updates, enhancements, content refresh, and archival processes.
- Produce high-quality visual content for SharePoint pages, intranet channels, internal communications, and presentations.
- Support UX/UI visual design for new intranet experiences, ensuring alignment with overall design direction and brand standards.
- Translate business requirements into user-focused content layouts and intuitive site structures.
- Act as a consultative partner to stakeholders, gathering and refining requirements to understand their digital needs.
- Translate unstructured requests into clear, structured, and actionable digital solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to digital best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in a related field (e.g., Graphic Design, Web Design, Information Technology) and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience.
- Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or equivalent graphic design tools.
- Strong visual communication skills and the ability to adhere to strict branding guidelines.
- Proven experience producing graphics and visual assets for web and intranet environments.
- Hands-on experience building and configuring SharePoint Online sites.
- Ability to configure lists, libraries, content types, and modern pages.
- Familiarity with SharePoint governance, templates, and provisioning processes.
- Strong consultative and requirements-gathering capabilities.
- Ability to translate ambiguous or unstructured requests into structured digital experiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other digital workplace tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Power Automate, or Power Apps).
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or basic front-end web development.
- Familiarity with user experience (UX) research and accessibility standards.
