We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to play a pivotal role in our vehicle development programs. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management and negotiation of complex, high-value agreements that are critical to bringing our automotive projects to life. The ideal candidate is a proactive negotiator with a keen eye for detail and a proven track record of administering contracts in a technical or engineering environment.Key Responsibilities:Draft, review, revise, and administer a wide array of contractual documents, including but not limited to:Statements of Work (SOWs)Master Service Agreements (MSAs)Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)Engineering Design & Development (ED&D) QuotationsEvaluate, negotiate, and manage costs, terms, and conditions for high-dollar purchase orders, ensuring optimal value, compliance, and risk mitigation.Administer contracts specifically related to Engineering Design & Development (ED&D) and in-vehicle software development, with a focus on protecting company intellectual property (IP).Collaborate closely with Engineering, Finance, Program Management, and Legal stakeholders to accurately assess vehicle development costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.Utilize enterprise systems (SAP ECC, Ariba) and adhere to defined approval workflows (e.g., L2 Approval process) for efficient contract and purchase order lifecycle management.Maintain impeccable contract records and documentation, ensuring full adherence to company policies, legal standards, and audit requirements.Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers and internal teams regarding contract terms, issue resolution, and clarifications.Provide expert guidance on contract interpretation, obligations, and compliance to internal stakeholders.Required Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, Supply Chain, or a related field OR a minimum of 5 years of direct experience in contract administration, negotiation, or management.Proven experience in negotiating and administering high-dollar value contracts and purchase orders.Strong proficiency with contract management systems and software; direct experience with SAP ECC and Ariba is highly desirable.Advanced skills in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex contractual concepts clearly.Preferred Skills & Experience:Direct experience within the automotive industry or with engineering/technical contracts.Working knowledge of Honda (or automotive OEM) parts, tooling, and development processes.Foundational understanding of contract law and general legal principles.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset.Company DescriptionPrecision Resources provides people with the opportunity to work with high ranking companies in the Fortune 500 list.
