What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabricator position at Precision Replacement Parts?
What you’ll do:
- Locate and gather raw material, appropriate molds, packaging materials, etc
- Verify initial machine and job startup. Run initial measurements after job startup to confirm quality and conformity of part and make any necessary adjustments
- Load and unload moldings from the machines
- Perform some manual operations on certain parts
- Examine parts for defects and measure parts to ensure conformance with specifications
- Package and label parts from the takeoff station
- Use a computer to make labels with proper lot date
- Complete transfer paperwork and inspection sheets
- Assist with equipment maintenance
- Maintain a clean, organized work area
- Attend work regularly and predictably and uphold Company values in all work aspects
What you’ll need to have:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year of manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. daily and 100 lbs. rarely
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize job duties and have a keen sense of attention to detail
- Ability to accurately take measurements
