Position Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems and components
- Install and service electrical panels, generators, EV chargers, lighting, outlets, switches, and safety devices
- Perform electrical upgrades, retrofit wiring, and code-compliance improvements
- Conduct electrical inspections and evaluate homes for safety concerns
- Educate homeowners on repair options, system improvements, and energy-efficient solutions
- Build trust with customers through professionalism and exceptional service
- Maintain accurate job documentation and communicate effectively with office staff and leadership
- Keep company vehicles, tools, and inventory organized and well-maintained
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with local and state electrical codes
Qualifications
- Michigan Master Electrician or Journeyman Electrician license required
- Minimum of 3 years of residential electrical experience preferred
- Completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics
- Experience performing residential service, repair, installation, and upgrade work
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving history
