Position Summary

The HR Coordinator supports the Human Resources and Admin Departments in daily operations. These duties include but are not limited to recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, HRIS management, and compliance. This role ensures accurate recordkeeping, facilitates employee communications, and contributes to leadership development initiatives. The HR Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining a positive work environment and ensuring compliance with employment laws and internal policies.

Responsibilities

  • Uphold organizational values and ethical standards.
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with staff and leadership.
  • Participate in team meetings and strategic planning sessions with the HR and Admin team.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all HR matters.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Assist with recruitment: job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire paperwork and termination documentation.
  • Assist with benefits administration (enrollment, changes, terminations, and documentation).
  • Maintain accurate employee records including personnel files, medical files, I9 forms, termination records.
  • Assist with training initiatives and employee engagement, recognition, and appreciation programs.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Two years of experience and an associate's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Excellent documentation, organization, and assessment skills.
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with databases and office software.
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with internal and external contacts.
  • Must maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Physical Demands

  • Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and working at a computer or desk.
  • Frequent use of computers for documentation, data entry, and virtual collaboration.
  • Requires ability to use hands and fingers for typing, data entry, and office equipment.
  • Occasional lifting of materials or supplies up to 25 lbs.
  • Requires clear vision and hearing, with or without corrective devices, to communicate and complete work tasks.
  • Ability to concentrate for extended periods and manage multiple tasks or deadlines in an office environment.
  • May require occasional travel to other office locations, meetings, or events.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in person, by phone, and through digital platforms.

Pay: From $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
