This position is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant erection, maintenance, and dismantling of scaffolding structures to support various industrial projects. The foreman will coordinate with project managers, safety officers, and scaffold crews to deliver high-quality scaffolding solutions that meet project timelines and regulatory standards. A key outcome of this role is to maintain a safe working environment while optimizing resource allocation and workflow to enhance productivity. Ultimately, the Scaffold General Foreman ensures that all scaffolding activities contribute to the successful completion of complex industrial operations with zero incidents and minimal downtime.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in scaffolding or related fields is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in scaffolding within the oil and gas or mining industries, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Valid scaffold inspection and safety certifications (e.g., CISRS, OSHA Scaffold Competent Person).
- Strong knowledge of scaffolding standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage multiple tasks, and communicate effectively on-site.
