MUST HAVE GRANITE FABRICATION EXPERIENCE
Duties
- Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts and power tools to handle and move stone materials safely and efficiently
- Follow detailed blueprints and technical drawings to cut, shape, and assemble granite components with precision
- Use hand tools, saws, grinders, polishers, and other fabrication equipment to achieve desired finishes and dimensions
- Measure materials accurately using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring devices to ensure adherence to specifications
- Perform dimensional inspections and quality checks throughout the fabrication process to maintain high standards
- Handle materials carefully, ensuring proper lifting techniques and adherence to safety protocols during heavy lifting tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following all safety standards related to PPE use, respiratory protection, and general safety regulations
Requirements (MUST)
- Proven experience in fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or stonework is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity using power tools and hand tools for precise cutting and finishing tasks
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings accurately
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations
- Experience with stone finishing techniques such as polishing and surface smoothing
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments including PPE adherence, respiratory protection protocols, and machinery operation safety
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while maintaining proper safety practices
- Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination for accurate fabrication work

Pay: $16.00 - $50.00 per hour
